Seriously, if you think Trump is bad or not, China will always outweigh him in problems

It’s a bit of an oversimplification — he credits Trump for way more than he deserves.

I’m fine with decoupling trade with China (genocidal hyper-nationalist fascist regime, etc.) to the greatest extent, but the whole “made in the USA” way of thinking is too reminiscent of North Korea-style Juche “self-reliance” — and we know what that did to their economy.

The USA should trade with the world generally, and certainly with our neighbors and allies who are liberal democracies and share our values.

Yeah, this was Fox News on the Chinese Olympics and how the Chinese are praising genocide of the Uhyigers (dangit why is it so hard to type), the Indian attack and Covid. And the comments were about how the US was screwed if we kept going down this path of supporting China because they will eventually overpower us and then we got this comment

and also North Korea never really was a "self reliant" country because it always got aid from the Soviets and then China. The US is in a different scenario however, because we have shown we can be self-reliant and manage (like during the World Wars, mainly 1 for trading and 2 for the whole lend lease thing)

At this point, everyone needs to stop sucking up to China, because thats how they became so powerful- we kept getting them workers for free and economy buffs and then Xi comes like the second coming of Mao regarding the style of Communisum
