Now there's a mess in MSMG now, people are fighting and its caused more chaos than if you would've not made that rule

I can't trust either Imgflip-diss situation because they'll either trust to be the owner or a moderator for a particular stream they're on, but I can't join this idea because they'll get angry at someone agreeing on something, but Jade says this to other users, it was the creator of this website. Because of that, they found out about why too many owners have too much power to change permissions to either two or more users to be the owner or the moderator of each stream in one place. Sorry, that wasn't wise to do Imgflip-diss on them, just accept their responsibility to have an update on this website.

Well I think its bad, because we as a stream (MSMG) Need a lot of owners to do things, cause not a lot are on all the time, we need these so we can handle all sorts of problems. And shortening that is stupid, cause it doesn't solve anything, it just makes things worse if you're a big enough stream. Its just crazy, and I wish to solve this problem

Has it worked well so far having an unlimited number of owners when one or more goes rogue every couple weeks and unmods everyone? Then everyone comes running to the site mods to get them out of a mess that can easily be prevented. We have more pressing matters to deal with on a daily basis. I am not convinced that it solved any problems, on the contrary it made more. There are an unlimited number of mods that can be added so they can all help in keeping the stream running smoothly.

And what if one of the 5 oneness chosen does end up going rogue and doing it again? Personally, I think the more owners there are means the higher chance of getting rid of owner on the rogue account before they cause enough damage.

Then you can narrow it down to 5 possible culprits rather than 25. It's going to happen much less frequently when people have to earn the title rather than begging for it.

Fair enough, but this still doesn’t fix an issue, what about Kedrei’s idea where you need at least one month + 10,000 points or something to become an owner of a stream that isn’t one you created?

It's possible in the future if things like all the mods being removed happens less frequently that the ownership could be increased. I'm not sure. We're going to see how the 5 limit works. basically it was the ownership abuse that's been happening in MSMG that prompted this change. Prove that you can handle 5 mods and perhaps it can be increased. I can't promise it but it would be considered at least.

Still, why was it implemented on the entire site when the main problem was on MSMG? Our stream (Anti_Anime_Memes) has had only three major instances of ownership removal that I can remember. Each time, only one person had their owner removed instead of the culprit going rogue and trying to take over the stream, and each time the other owners reinstated the victim's owner status as soon as possible. Maybe our stream is just an exception among streams with large owner counts, but it still shows the point that a stream can still function with many owners as long as they're trustworthy.

The more mature ya'll can handle changes like this the more likely we are to make more changes you like that give you more freedoms. With freedom comes responsibility. Show us you can be responsible now with 5 owners. It's on you guys.

I think owners should work toward that position and earn it based on their good track record of being a mod first. Also owners should be consistent at posting good content to the stream, contribute positively to the stream and indicate they can exercise good judgment in making decisions. There should be an application process. It shouldn't just be handed out like candy to anyone who begs for it.

Well in our stream, we need more owners to make decisions, like 10 or so. But even if we had 5 there still might be a bad apple in the bunch, as long with 10 or 15, so I don't see it as a problem. Msmg is a humongous stream, and we need a lot of people to keep it in check. There is so much drama there everyday that we need a lot of people, and I'm gonna say anyone can go rogue and unmod anyone, along with having 5 owners. You're acting immature if I do say so myself, but its just annoying how dumb this is

Well the owners can do pretty much anything, like for example unmodding someone, but my point still stands that any folk that has owner can do that and you still need a global mod smfh. But I digress, like most owners arent on at 1 am at night, and we need them to either ban or unmod someone if they are abusing it. From what I know church's account got hacked. MSMG is the only stream that has this ownership problem and needs bailing out every few weeks, the track record is not enough to convince us more owners is a positive feature. Mods with their ability to delete comments and unfeature stuff should keep the stream in check. Just give it a try. It's a new feature and understandably is going to ruffle feathers. But this allows you to choose the best possible candidates to be owner and make them do their job well rather than rely on 25 different people some of whom you might barely know or trust. How well would a country with 25 different presidents run? You can change owners at any time maybe have a schedule or election every so often and change up the 5 people. Be creative.

I'm gonna say this, we as a country rely and 9 members of congress to get our laws in and shit, so why can't we? You're still not listening to me, we might need to unmod someone because they are abusing it and the owner might not be on smfh
