Isn't it $1200 now? That banks have to report if you have transactions over in one month? And I remember the IRS going after conservatives.
I also realize governments (at least the ones in power now) are having a hard time giving up the power and control they've had during the pandemic. They seem to want to hold on to it at all costs, and Trudeau is a perfect example.
