Hmm, maybe it's because our patriarchal societal standards made it seem like weakness for men to show emotion and keep everything bottled up as a result until they can't take it anymore.. I'm kinda thinking we should change that, what do you think?

Like, for example;

*Guy is crying*
"Hey, man up. Boys don't cry."
"But my entire family died.."

*Girl is crying*
*She's comforted*

*Guy is angry*
"Oh, I can understand why, his family was killed"

*Girl is angry*
"Is she on her period?"
