I graduated high school still a right winger that believed in capitalism. I didn’t become far left until college, and it had nothing to do with instruction. I learned it on my own, voluntarily reading The Conquest of Bread and other communist literature.

Cultural Marxism is what the collective Left pushes like the Biden Administration pushes crack pipes for minorities . . . before denying that they did that in the program that they called . . . smoke kits.

that anyone can deny that influence in higher education is beyond insane. every student should be recording every minute in class.

You got radicalized in higher education. Many such cases. You should just look at the examples of far left policies like Communism. There will ALWAYS be different social classes. look at today. equality isn't good enough anymore because it didn't result in the expected goal. so now they move it to equity. a guaranteed outcome. Doesn't it bother you that the communist death toll even exceeds the Nazi death toll last century? like at all?

None of my teachers radicalized me to the left. I had a teacher who made comments about capitalism, just one, but I disagreed with him at the time. I discovered left-wing politics on my own accord because I heard people talking about libertarian socialism and anarcho-communism online.

What am I supposed to look at? America? We don’t have communism. We have capitalism, thus, we have inequality. Capitalism is the root of inequality. China and other countries do better for the disadvantaged, but they are not communist and fully egalitarian. You can describe them better as state capitalist or market socialist.

The way deaths from “communism” are tabulated is very controversial, because they count those that died as a result of famine and in war. Even if you used the inflated 94 million statistic, capitalism kills more in 5 or 6 years from deaths due to pollution, preventable diseases and starvation and homelessness. Obviously I can’t condone red terror committed against my own comrades, such as anarchists and left-communists, and I think that the structure of Marxism-Leninism necessarily results in despotism, and does nothing to dispose of elitism or social classes and inequality altogether. Thats why I don’t support it. I support anarchist communism.

I will not be dissuaded by bourgeois propaganda.

China does better for their needy? Like cause a famine that killed over 50 million? work their people to death in sweatshops?

Man, I feel bad for you. You've been so radicalized. Feel free to try to move to a communist country. See how you like it. you just want Communism off the back of a successful capitalist country so it'll last for a couple years. Try it elsewhere please

If you look at worldwide reductions in poverty over the last century or so, almost all of it can be attributed to China (if you raise the standard for living in extreme poverty). China has universal healthcare and other programs to support working people. The United States scoffs at the very idea!

including a worldwide pandemic they released? great fellows! do you have any idea how corrupt China is? try exporting goods from there, not being Nike.

see pic for your grandiose claims of great Chinese healthcare. you one of those everyone gets a participation medal? lel

and I don't think capitalism is perfect either. much improvement to be made but Communism is the last thing we need. ask anyone from a communist country not deluded by past illusions of grandeur.

You clearly don’t understand the difference between anarchism and state socialism.

Capitalism is far from perfect, and reforms are not how you make it better. We tried that, and then the elites started class war and choked out the middle class and inequality widened. The capitalist class needs to be defeated and class rule abolished for good.

people will always try to rule, don't be naive. You are chasing a dream that will never be feasible. but hey, you do you. but take my suggestion. smuggle yourself into a communist country and witness it firsthand. but I guess you're a communist has never really been attempted kinda guy. I think your intentions are good but you are pushing evil. You won't be able to rebuild what you destroy for a century after you ruin it. hopefully at least you aren't a disarm everyone communist.

That’s why those hierarchies are done away with when they arise and when someone is put into a trusted position of authority it is always with the voluntary consent of those who listen or submit.

When Lenin ascended to power, and democratic centralism became the doctrine of the Soviet Union, he was criticized by many prominent leftists, even Marxists. They all came to the conclusion that Lenin was arriving at state capitalism rather than socialism or communism. Even the Soviets did not believe they arrived at communism. It was an experiment to establish communism, and initially Lenin implemented the NEP, which restored private property and markets. Stalin implemented the five year plans, which involved collectivization. Still, the USSR was stuck in between capitalism and socialism and never established communism. Communism involves the withering away of the state, which obviously never took place.

It has never happened nor ever will. You can't eliminate greed in humans. Ever.
1 up, 3y
No, greed might not be eliminated, but it is hard to fulfill when we are all (become) equals, and besides, capitalism rewards and encourages greed. Communism on the other hand does the opposite. We reciprocate and fulfill through mutual aid and support.

Upvote for the effort though.
