If by "they" you had meant John H....then I am not sure that John H. had hidden the study but rather they had ignored it....and the researcher had to go outside of John H. to publish the study and he had criticized them for making him do that. Also, I believe that the study was only concluded recently.
This is what liberals do....they only publish the stories (in this case study and data) that suit their fascist narrative....and because they control over 90% of the mainstream media....they effectively control the news that the population have access to and view....at least for now (hopefully that will change soon as Conservatives get into the new online ad crypto medias).

Yes, John H. is a liberal University and it will never fund or publish such a study! Stay posted for the liberal fact-checkers to try to destroy this study. Also known as liberal clueless and undereducated journalists that are making uneducated political opinions!

Can they study why America has the most deaths to COVID and cases in COVID compared to all the other countries in the world? Take it state to state and figure out what happened then? What is science outside of America saying? Because America is like a really bad teenager who knows it all, refusing to work with other countries to develop health treatments and cures for health related concerns.

There's no need for a study like this. Hospital admins have come out and flat out said they are putting Covid on the death certificate for the money. Its not rocket science. The government told them to not admit anyone that isn't in critical condition so they were empty and hemorrhaging money. The choice is put covid on the death certificates or go out of business.

This won't be the first time or the last for the medical industry to milk insurance money, and take advantage of a situation like COVID. And for the government to give a incentive which didn't go to frontline workers is sickening. Killing people with treatments that have low survival rates is wrong. And sure thing people with poor health have tragically died due to the virus, but to profit off of illness is disgusting.

Oh they give doctors and nurses huge money for working on covid patients too. Its why covid treatment is still #1 over everything else at hospitals.

Those studies will only be done in the future as no one will fund them....in the future when most of the data is lost. It will not be politically expedient today!
I will try to be brief but that is fairly well-known and easy to answer.
America is a very sick country in terms of health....and worse, about 70% of the population is overweight (a high-risk factor). Add in a large aging population (another high-risk population), spotty health care and access for the poorer section of the population, and a very high rate of multiple co-morbidities within this population (poverty does not seem to be a factor as Africa is doing relatively well but co-morbidities is a high-risk factor)), and a horrible death-creating diet (which accounts for the overweight problem also)....as most of America's food is NOT natural but rather processed foods (processed meats, grains, and sugars make up the vast majority of America's diet).
That is one part but I believe that the main part is political....
America's covid deaths are nowhere where the media and government claim that it is today. When covid had hit....the CDC had declared that covid deaths did not have to be confirmed by confirming tests but rather by a doctor's clinical skill.
Whatever happened to the flu....flu kills an average of 39,000 Americans a year. Last year the CDC's site claimed that less than 6000 Americans were killed by the flu which is an IMPOSSIBILITY: The missing 33,000 were just added to covid to inflate the covid deaths.
The govt told hospitals that it would pay them handsomely for covid patients who were placed in the ICU and even more cash for those who were placed on ventilators. Guess what doctors recommended when patients came in with covid on the slightest whim....YES! ICU care and intubation in a move to pad their bank accounts! We had known fairly early that covid patients do not respond well to intubation ....it kills them! American hospitals killed quite a lot of patients in their greed to milk the government.
Another way that the number of the covid deaths was inflated was that anybody who came in and tested positive for covid....even if it was a traffic accident and had no symptoms of covid, then it was classed as a covid patient. Worse, if a patient died from cancer, a stroke, or a heart attack (etc) but just happened to test for covid also....then those deaths were not classed as a stroke, heart attack, or cancer death....BUT AS A COVID DEATH!
I could go on but....

We NEVER learn from history because we had also done these very same lockdowns in the 1920s during the Spanish Flu and it also had ZERO effect...in fact, it likely had made it worse!
I also have absolutely no doubt that these current lockdowns have made the situation vastly worse. The suffering has been (and will be) incalculable....job losses, destruction of industries, missed diagnostic tests, depression & suicide, increased deaths from cardiac events for people who were too fearful to go to the emergency, the loss of educational years for our young ones....and I can go on to perpetuity...
A John Hopkins study is without any doubt one of the best research that you can get out of America....and it ranks 12th in the world for Liberal Arts and Social Sciences. It was founded in 1876 as America's first research university....and it is a very liberal university (so there is no Conservative conspiracy here)!
Of course, the American liberal media will completely ignore this and pretend that it was never done as it does not fit their narrative!
And the major losers from this lockdown....our young adults who instead of working....are locked away from the world....forced to cower in fear....because of the fear-laced messages that their great leaders and the liberal media are dishing out incessantly....and paradoxically, the better the condition gets, the greater the impetus for these criminals to broadcast even more dire threats!
