Completely agree. Noticed around late 90s when I was in college. It wasn't full blown Marxism, but the sociology and psychology teachers were borderline Lenin. The tides of change took a grip during Obama's term, and went full Marxism. This ideology of the left that needs you to practice their values over your own is destroying this country. Coming from former democrat now independent that leans right. I don't recognize my former party.

I know what you mean. I was a life long Democrat until 2008 when my fellow Dems started calling me a racist because I supported moderately qualified Hillary Clinton over the utterly unqualified Barack Obama. It was then when I realized that not only had my own party DEVOLVED before my very eyes but that also the mainstream news media had become absolutely nothing more than a permanent propaganda arm of the Dem Party . . . and so finally I began to really THINK about my politics.

Sounds like you still have more thinking to do.
