The incident in Spain actually happened in 1966. There was a similar event in Greenland in 1968 though.

although it is Greenland, its not as bad because its actually Iceland (and Iceland is actually Greenland, the Vikings can be considered trolls for this)

One story goes that Iceland got its name because the Vikings didn't want it overrun with visitors.

its stuff like this which makes nuclear energy to dangerous to be the main option for energy usage, it can cause mass damage (oil is still the most used because it doesn't have limitations like solar or wind energy and isn't as catastrophic as nuclear)
