So you weren't kidding that you don't live in Minneapolis after all?

I live several miles south of the Twin Towns in one of the exurbs...I started following English soccer when I lived there in the '80s. Still a big fan. Arsenal-Spurs is one of the Big Three rivalries along with Merseyside and Manchester. My favorite back then was Luton Town before they fell on hard times.

I was at RAF Chicksands in Bedfordshire, about 40 miles or so north of London. The train stopped at Highbury on the way in within sight of the old Arsenal stadium.

Nope. Born in Minnesota.

How'd you sign up for the RAF then?

I wasn't in the RAF. Chicksands at the time was on loan to the US Air Force.
