No, that can be easily abused and makes it hard for mods to see who started arguments and who needs to be banned when something happens since they can just delete the evidence. They can go to the thing that tells them the entire history of the image but you can easily claim that they used inspect.

ok so how it would work is that the mods will get a notification about it and they can check what comment got deleted and read it because they are the mod. better?

You can also abuse it to silence people, you might as well just disable comments on your post.

This will probably also trigger alerts for comments that were deleted by the user that made them and comments the mods delete/ban users for.

You can simply go back to the meme every day and delete the comments one by one. Still can be abused if you wait long enough or if you actually want to put in the effort, the entire idea is stupid.
