Inflation; I went to town to buy a 5 pound bag of dog food for my beagle and you can only buy 3 pound bags now. It's a devious way to conceal inflation. The government will always under report actual inflation numbers because if they told the truth , raising the Cost of Living Allowance to keep pace with inflation would have bankrupt Social Security 20 years ago. Makes me glad I bought an axe instead of a chainsaw. I won't have to pay $3.54 for a quart of gas, like everyone else to keep warm this winter.
