illumina ichigo temp | Okay, this stream has a problem.
Spire's owner was taken because she was enforcing the rules properly. Darmug's owner was taken (but given back, fortunately) for enforcing the no homophobia rule. What we need is a solution to this problem. We tried head owners, but that caused drama, Government also caused drama. Now what I'm suggesting is that mods can either take moderation seriously and others as jokes, or not have mod. This isn't in place but it seems like a fix. | image tagged in illumina ichigo temp | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

Moderation is supposed to be serious.
Thing is, here's people getting mod for free and asking for Owner after.
It shouldn't even be a thing to walk into a stream and ask to own it, that's absolutely absurd.

We got here b e c a u s e of not taking moderation seriously.

lol just take it all away except for a few people (who deserve it/are qualified)

That's s o m e t h i n g .
First, we decide who's `qualified.` Then we explain to everyone why t h e y ' r e not selected.
And then comes the slander.

It will be a minority of people who will slander because if y'all went through with this 90% of people would keep their mod because of their relations with people. It will probably only remove 5 mods. But I do think their should be less owners.

Good point.
Well, it's pretty hard to remove owners, ye know ._. we can't just take it away.
They must've done something really wrong. Everyone on that list right now knows the stream too well to do anything wrong.

wait, how many mods/owners are there?

21 Owners.
And a lot more mods.
1 up, 4y
yeah, i counted the mods/owners (might be wrong) and theirs 109. out of those, 19 percent are owner (21 owners). that leads to a (simplified) ratio of 1(owner):5.2(moderators). I think that number should be more like 1:10, especially with the amount of mods we have.
1 up, 4y
true. it'll be a huge drama if some owners get their owner removed. this stream really dug their own grave when it's come to this problem.

we really should start filtering the mods to just the ones who actually do their damn job and not the ones just kinda in it for shits and gigs and there isn't a direct benefit to having them have it

Ye- so read that comment and lmk what you think- Doesn't have to be those specific owners that was just my personal choice, but do you kind of understand what I was talking about?

jokes on you i a l r e a d y saw that
and i do agree with the idea

So like let's just say we have three or so main owners- not including us, all the current mods would be taken away, and then the current owners that didn't get picked to be the three or so main owners would get mod.

But I already know where the streams reaction is going to be- "the owners are so biased they just want all the power to themselvessss"

they're dumbasses ofc that'll be their reaction
specifically the ones that used to have mod

bruh this stream is going to be broken forever. people who are owner and mod now will probably keep that forever. the mod resets are useless as shit. and some people abuse their mod/owner, and nobody does anything about it in some cases. i think it'd be pretty hard to isolate which mods/owners will take mod/owner serious, because if you were all to start monitoring them and see who is serious and who is a dumbass, they'll act serious and pretend to be amazing mods/owners. but after that it'll all go to shit. my only guess to fixing this is a mod/owner reset, with whoever seems to be fit to "interview" previous and new mods/owners to either take away the mod/owner or grant the owner/mod. also their are to many owners. feel like their should 1-3, so that only a few people have that power.

Exactly. Its so difficult tho cuz everyone wants to be in control.

tbh, the rules are why they're being broken

no extra rules=no more shit

well I'm thankful for the no porn/hentai/yiff rule

Its hard tho cuz ppl have been mod and owner for so long so freely. So if we take away moderations now, ppl are gonna get pissed.

But I agree sm. Spire and Darmug are few of the owners I've genuinly respected that actually do their f**king job.
0 ups, 4y
Hmm that's a good point, but we'd need all the mods to conclude what's breaking the rules. I've been called a mod abuser before bc i disapproved porn gifs

it'll be overthrown in like 5 secs tho

like spire should be owner and that's that. just like the old days. speaking of old days i was a mod back when i was Chrom_Ender
