A few years ago, i was seeing memes just like this left in the comments of some right wing politics memes.They really got my "Spidey-sense" tingling -(I must admit I still hold a strange infatuation for them) Thus began my introduction into the crazy world of Purgeboy. Upon investigating, I found these were left by the op for a user who had earned the knickname "Purgeboy." Soon I would burst out laughing each time I came across Purgeboy memes- not so much his, but the "exploding train/Purgeboy" replies. All Purgeboy's memes had the same distinctive spammy style. Most contained a death-threat against "a left"- all replete with broken-English & bad grammar... He would never get more than a handful of memes submitted before he was thrown off the site for violations- only to reappear soon after under another weird alt. At one point then, a user appeared with the actual username of "Purgeboy", even imitating his style fairly well, but I was later told this was not in fact the real Purgeboy. I get why he was upsetting to Liberals, but Purgeboy clearly had a few screws loose, and I never really cared much about his memes. I never did deal with him personally- I was in it for the train-crash memes, and dealt with the users who left them- so in a way, it was thanks to Purgeboy that i met a few of them (Liberal users) who turned out to be pretty cool! I have not spotted any Purgeboy memes for awhile now. I am not sure if he is still around, but I've heard rumors that he's still up to his old tricks. Keep looking for those trainwreck memes!
