Covid is very real and we need to start taking it serious | We had an abnormal increase by 400,000 deaths in one year in the us in 2020; If the covid numbers are false or the severity of the virus is being overblown, then how do you explain this? | image tagged in memes, hard to swallow pills,covid-19,deaths,2020,2021 | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

Cold and flu in the us for the last 10 years have only killed 12,000 to 52,000 people in a year.

Obesity rates in the US were 6% in 1980 and are now over 42%. drug overdoses, suicides and mental health issues at all-time highs. We eat and drink poison daily.

And those rates rose steadily. This happened in the span of a year. Worldwide. Not just the US.

Obesity yes, but overdoses and suicides just went crazy. Almost 100,000 opioid deaths last year up from 30k. I still cannot find suicide numbers but everyone I talk to knows someone. My wife and I know several, including two people close to us, since spring. It is heartbreaking. I am afraid the cure (vaccines, lockdowns and masks) is worse than the disease. It seems our mental AND physical health is the worst it has ever been. Saty safe.

Provisional data for 2020 show that despite the increase in some risk factors associated with suicidal behavior during 2020 (4,5), the number of suicides in the United States appeared to decline in 2020 by 3% compared with 2019. Numbers of annual suicides had increased steadily from 2003 through 2018, followed by a 2% decline between 2018 and 2019 (2,10). The provisional
2020 number (45,855) is 5% below the 2018 peak (48,344)

Meaning, Suicide actually went down in 2020. Here's the data. https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/vsrr/VSRR016.pdf

However, you're right. We've been seeing an annual increase of 25% more deaths by opiods than the year prior. In 2021, it was 100k, 2020, it was 78k, the year before that it was 56k. That still doesn't account for the large amount of deaths caused by Coronavirus for COVID to be "fake."
Here's the data that supports your claim:

Your position is legitimate and thanks for being respectful. I do not know anyone that thinks COVID is fake. There are many of us, however, that believe the cure is worse than the disease and we are watching that play out now with our loss of freedoms / way of life and the crumbling of the economy.

I recently saw the numbers on suicide you mention. I must admit I am skeptical. Anecdotally, I know several people personally that resorted to this final solution and have had more conversations than ever with people that have been affected by suicide. Car accident deaths in 2020 were also somehow, unbelievably, at an all-time high in spite of far fewer miles driven. One case I personally know of was a guy that drove off of cliff on a ten mile straight away on the highway leading to our town. He drove that road four days a week for years. It was ruled a traffic fatality but those of us close to him think it was highly likely intentional. He was depressed and had just gotten out of rehab a few days prior.

How many deaths that would have been ruled suicide in the past are now traffic fatalities or accidental overdoses? The discussion to differentiate dying 'with Covid' as compared to 'of Covid' is just now starting to get traction as well.

I think we can agree that we are living in strange times regardless of which side our views fall on. Stay safe and all the best to you and yours in the crazy days ahead.

You as well. My parting knowledge is this, correlation does not equal causation. Yes, there was an increase in car crash related deaths. Yes, Covid will be listed on the death certificate if found and tested positive. No, it isn't counted as a COVID death. Are there people who enter data incorrectly? Sure.

The saddest part, is that freedoms/crumbling economy are suffering beceause we can't get on the same page since day 1. This is because the virus *has* been politicized. If you go back, you'll find that Trump did, in fact, start such polarization citing COVID as the "New Democrat Hoax." It's been an uphill battle since.

Freedom comes with responsibility. It *always* does. Right now, we aren't acting responsibly in this pandemic. The cure, which is a misnomer, will allow us to have our freedoms again. But, as I just said, we have never reached the numbers needed to make that viable. Denmark has re-opened due to 80% vaccination.

I'm not trying to drag this out, but I think there's more information you should look at and consider that I don't think people against the vaccine are really hearing. Because of the times, everyone's memory is about two months long, everything beyond that gets seemingly fuzzy unless it's a hotbutton issue. So much has happened with Covid, some would like to think that some of us haven't been paying attention. I really want to explore this topic more with people who will listen. I don't care if they agree or not, but I just want them to listen.

2020 saw the highest death rate increase in ten years by 17.7% The highest percentage before that was 3.3%... if we were to take the previous years total deaths (2,854,838) and subtract that by the second highest average increase of 3.3% (94,210), that means we're left with a significant increase in deaths by 409,766 deaths!

According to the CDC, we had about 385,441 deaths attributed to Covid in 2020. And 437,554 deaths due to covid in 2021.

Preliminary data reports are 3,288,550 deaths total in 2021 which, if this holds true, is the first time we've EVER had less deaths in a previous year than the last in a decade. Keep in mind these reports are preliminary and it will be spring until the official data sheets are released.

We still had about a 433,712 increase in 2021 from 2019 totals. That is still an abnormal increase as the highest increase in the last ten years, aside from 2020 was between 2014 and 2015 by 86, 212.

The only explanation that makes any logical reason for these abnormal 350,000 deaths in the last two years must be something we did not have in 2010-2019.

Perhaps, it was Covid.

How would you explain it?

I personally know 6 people that died from it, 1 from the vaccine so the Vaccine is the lesser of 2 evils.I got the shot
