The various social media platforms and internet platforms like Google, YouTube, etc, all use algorithms that track your clicks and likes. From that, they can profile you and send you "suggestions" that will likely, and predictably, based on your internet history, be watched while advertisements, tailored to those same like and clicks, target you for their merchandise. Your profile has been sold. It happens to everyone online and explains why, not only one group is so biased to the left, but why others are so slanted to the right, neither group being fed anything that would be glanced over or ignored. The algorithms get tighter with each click. The tech is so powerful now that, with enough information, they can, not only predict your behavior but influence it.

If you don't understand how algorithms work, maybe it's time for your education. Everything I said came straight from executives at Facebook, instagram, youtube, Twitter and the rest. They don't try to hide it.
