Any variations that are not "typical" are not "normal." That doesn't mean they are bad, but to say things that are not typical or normal are the same as the typical (or normal) is disingenuous. All of the variations he speaks about are a tiny fraction of the population. And again, it doesn't make those tiny fraction of the population bad, or weird, but it might make them relatively unique. Not special, but different than most of the rest.
Like he said: 4% of the American population is gay. AND since he also said they have nothing to with being gay (it's totally normal according to science apparently) - What makes them so special they need to have PRIDE in it? Why be proud of something you have/had no influence on? That always baffled me. It's like being proud of being white. Or black. Or tall. If you want to be considered "normal" than why insist on everyone recognizing you as different? It seems counter intuitive.
Personally I don't care what you look like, how you present yourself, or who you sleep with. As long as you don't hurt anyone and do it all with consenting adults...go for it.
