- Ross River Fever (named after a flu outbreak in the Ross River, New South Wales, Australia
- Lyme Disease (formally called that after a large outbreak in Lyme, CT)
- Spanish flu (they didn't quite get this one right... it was supposedly first reported in a Spanish newspaper... close enough?)
- German Measles (come on, man!)
