Proof that over 95% of abortions happen because the mother just didn't feel like it. Only if the mother's life is severely physically threatened or if the baby won't survive anyway can an abortion be considered at least slightly justifiable. And rape or incest aren't valid reasons to take a life either because no one chooses the circumstances under which we're born. Only 0.1% or 0.2% of abortions happening now should be legal.

We’ll never know for sure the reasoning behind it if they can just not say. Not saying they should have to say, I’m largely undecided on this. from what I hear getting an abortion is not an easy decision, and for some it sticks with them for a long time. However I think terminating a pregnancy just because that baby would be an inconvenience, is not morally right IMO. It’s just complicated all around.

The idea that the state can force women to give birth against their will is just barbaric to me. It’s the mirror image of the China One-Child policy, and just as wrong.

Becoming a parent is the most consequential thing any of us will ever do. If the state asserts itself upon its citizens on something as highly personal as the decision of whether to have children (or how many children to have), then it had also better be prepared to provide and care for that child from age 0 to 18 if need be. As it stands, our welfare system is grossly inadequate, a lot of that having to do with the outlook of the same Party that wants to force women to give birth.

I’m not saying we have to celebrate abortion, but I do celebrate the idea of reproductive freedom in general. Let’s do our best to make sure every child that comes into this world is wanted and cares for.

I understand your logic.

However, it is my belief that abortion is wrong unless it saves one of more human life/lives. Even then, I would need to see how it saves anybody's lives.

You see, if a woman does not want a baby, but chooses to have s** anyway, then she should understand that she may have a baby and be willing to care for him/her or put him/her up for adoption. The baby does not have to die, and because abortion is the end of a human life, it should be used as a last resort. There are many options for these children, as I said adoption can be one of them. If a woman does not want to put a child up for adoption, she can bring the baby to one of many locations that will bring in babies. There were many fire departments by where I used to live that would take in babies.

Or there is the unethical way, which is ripping the fetus's limbs from the baby and tearing him/her out of the womb to be unceremoniously disposed of. I believe any baby should be allowed to grow up and be given a chance at life, unless there is a good reason for that to not happen, like I said before if it saves another life/lives, then it may be ethical. But again, I would have to know the whole story behind every abortion to judge every abortion.

But, I do believe that abortion in general is unethical and that the woman should at least give the baby a chance at life if there isn't an ethical reason for an abortion.
