The omicron variant does spread faster but the cases are actually mild cases and next to no deaths

The South Africa National Department of Health has stated that the majority cases of omicron are only mild cases and there are very little severe cases and covid deaths in South Africa are very low right now. The omicron variant is spreading rapidly but really isn't as deadly the other variants. Here is an article from the World Health Organization.
