I made this point because right wing extremists seem to think that charges dropped in BLM Protest cases, are unique, instead of part of the process. Cops arrest people they think broke the law. Prosecutors examine the evidence and determine what charges they could possibly make stick. Plea bargains are reached, or decisions are made to drop charges that might not stick. That happens in every city in America every day.
