So much racism, that you have to make it up to prove it exists.

Time to change the verbiage "from racists" to some "people who prefer to be with similar people." Included with "their people" is their culture. Italians to the Poles, to Irish, to Chinese, to Hattians, Mexican, to Germans, to Canadians, to Native Americans, to Arabs, to Ghanaians, to Protestants, to Catholics, to Jews, and on and one. Those most recently arriving in this country seem to prefer the known to the unknown. Overtime that diminishes as people become assimilated and accepting of a blending of cultures. Those who do not continue to be marginalized. This can be clearly seen in the intercity neighborhoods where ethnic groups seems to congregate at first and spread as they become comfortable. "Racist" has no meaning by itself anymore. It is used to attack and denigrate.

Your comment is right on point, and we see actual example of it - china town, little Italy, German town, and ghettos , where if you aint black you aint welcome even to walk down the street. People congregate naturally to people with similar culture , tastes, religions, and languages. It doesn't make them racists, it makes them wanting to connect with people that they shares common bonds with. Diversity is weakness, unity is strength .

I see it like this - how much mercy will they show an 'outsider'? If person A goes to group B's area and has a full heart attack, will the B people help person A or will they finish what the heart attack started?

well, 12 years ago here in Chicago ..a Mexican gang banger get shot and killed by some black peace stones ( black gang bangers) , no one called the cops and the body laid there for 5 days, until a mailman reported a body in the ally. so, that answers that.

on the other hand I think if you were having a heart attack in Chinatown the people would definitely try to help you - I think there is a cultural aspect to the question that should be acknowledged.
