But...
Do I need to pay for all the levels?

you pay for 1 dlc as a whole

each dlc will contain 3 levels (1 secret one), new weapons, armor, and a couple new artifacts

also if u buy it, on what platform will u do so

There's like 6 dlcs total, but you get like 5% discount if you buy the bundle. The base game has ten levels (one of which is a demo of the dlcs), eight secret levels (I believe) and seven bosses. Each dlc gives new equipment, mobs, two levels, one boss and one secret level (except flames of the nether and echoing void). The secret level is always unlocked in the first level. Flames of the Nether has three normal levels, three secret levels and no bosses. Echoing void has one level, one boss and no secret level.

Also, there's a boatload of replay value, as there are three categories of difficultly (default, adventure and apocalypse), default and adventure have seven sub-catagories of difficultly, while apocalypse has 33. I believe there are also 70 achievements and four secret achievements.

I forgot to mention this, but there's also 4 player co-op, both local and online.
