Yeah, I don't live in a swing state, so I almost always vote third party.

Proportional Representation would fix this (e.g., the proportional multi-seat version of Ranked Choice Voting known as the Single Transferable Vote).

Waiting Skeleton Meme | WAITING FOR A CANDIDATE TO LEGALLY CHANGE THEIR NAME TO 'THE LESSER OF TWO EVILS' | image tagged in memes, waiting skeleton | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
You've got to admit they'd get a lot of votes. I vote for the lesser of two evils every year.

How'd you get the image to show up without needing to click on it?

Do mean like mine above that says "Waiting for a candidate to..."?

If so, start by clicking "Add Meme". Then, you get a dialog that is similar to what you use when you create a new meme. You can upload an image from your device or search the data base for templates, caption it, the whole nine yards. Click on Generate and Post Comment and you're set.

If it's a meme like your Cthulhu one (great meme by the way) then you could do what you did OR you could save the image to your drive and then upload it as I said previously.

Hope that helps.

Yes, like your "Waiting for a candidate to..." skeleton. For me, your image just shows up, whereas the Cthulhu one shows "5wvzz1.jpg (click to show)" and then only shows the image after I click. Does it only do that for me, and you see my image without needing to click? Because I *think* your steps are what I did to create the Cthulhu one.

I didn't create that, by the way. I found it on the Internet, and it was also a bumper sticker a former roommate had on his truck.

Thank you!

So, I think that what you did is clicked on Add Image underneath the reply box. In there, you have to paste the url of an existing meme. Again, if you just want it to appear without the user having to click it then follow the steps that I outlined above, saving the original meme to your drive and then uploading back to IMGFLIP.

Either way's fine with me. What I hate is lazy people that just paste their url here in the comment box. If I click on it, it takes me away from the original meme that I was looking at. I don't like that.

Yes, that's what I did.

Thanks for the great advice! It worked for me in another thread. Rather odd and counterintuitive, as it means there are now duplicate memes on this site, but eh, ya gotta work with what you have, I guess.

And I'll be sure to avoid pasting the URL like you said. Thanks again!
