I think if all it takes is three or four downvotes to hide a comment, and people use alts all over the place, maybe raise the downvote threshold or maybe just discontinue it's ability to hide comments.

I'm not doing it. Everyone who down votes the comment makes it a low rated comment. They do this because it might not appease the people looking at it.

Yet everyone who knows what the downvote function does continues to do it... You only need to be on imgflip for a week to figure it out. When you hitdownvote you're saying yes to GOP defined censorship..
