That's very interesting. Although it's messed up how the Cuckoo pushes the other eggs out of the nest.
But for the years the Morning Doves nested in my window box I saw all kinds of things. From seeing the baby doves chip their way out of the egg, to their feeding, protection, and flying away. But I've also seen an egg not hatch and had to remove it from the nest, a crow snatch one of the babies out of the nest, and one time one of the babies tried to fly before he was ready. I had to call the fire department to have it taken back to the nest, and it was gone a couple of days later.
