Curious, why did you pick 2 fictional people and Colonel Sanders?

I didn't accuse you of slander. I simply asked why two fictional people and one real. I don't think Don Johnson is associated with the south, either.

In the picture, all three are dressed in ways that suggest characters associated with the South. The late Sorrell Booke had over 200-roles that were not Jefferson "Boss Hogg" Davis. No one is rushing to his defense because he was a good actor who imprinted the racist image of his character in our memories.

I intended this meme to make the point that two high profile court cases, in the South, dealt blows to racists' assumptions that they are above the law, if they target Black people. This is good news for all Americans who want laws applied and enforced evenly.

BTW, had I written untrue, negative comments with the intent to damage someone's reputation the charge would be "libel," not "slander." I am sure this was just an oversight for all you people who know everything. And, according to my Libel Manual, it is not Libel if it is true.

Do you really need to slander the chicken guy?

The Meriam Webster Dictionary defines slander as " the utterance of false charges or misrepresentations which defame and damage another's reputation." Since you appear to not know what you are talking about, I don't know how to answer your question. I could guess that you are just looking for a reason to "pick nit," based on past interactions with you. I have made no references to "the chicken guy." I do not feel compelled to answer your false accusation.

In your meme. The person depicted in the center panel is Colonel Sanders, the man who founded KFC. You are implying that he is a racist, when there is no evidence anywhere that that is true.

Hell, Boss Hogg wasn't racist. To him everyone was 'A Mark'.

See my reply to BR-Yang. You are correct.

I implied noting of the sort. I simply chose a photo of three white men associated with the South. You jumped to the conclusion that they represented racists because that is how you have been conditioned to think. In fact, there is no evidence that any of the three men in that photo are or were overtly racist. The two verdicts I highlighted suggest that many of the people some considered to be dyed in the wool racists are more open minded than you appear to be.

I jumped to the conclusion that you were implying that these men were racist because you implied they were racist with the text of your meme. If you are saying that the picture and the text of your meme are not connected in any way, then you might be a special kind of leftist.

Two of the three people pictured are actors. One of the actors and "the chicken guy," are dead. The text of my meme leaves it up to you to jump to the conclusion that these are the "neighbors," also. Your conclusion is totally a function of your frame of mind, not mine. I happen to see these trial results as positive messages about Southerners. You have connected them to a negative message due to your predisposition.
