That's where I got most of my points, not in popularity but in commenting with users, many of which have become my friends. For instance, I'm commenting now, and I upvoted your meme. If you reply, I'll upvote your reply. If you upvote mine, then we both win. The other reply (currently on this meme at the time of my reply) is there without upvoting. That helps no one. When I first got here, I loved the thrill of upvotes, then followers became a thing. Now I don't even look at my point or follower count and I've made the best friends here after not caring about numbers.
