BUT...
it was made up nearly entirely of Democrats. And most Democrats shared views with the Klan, but instead acted more subtly. And and buy more subtly I mean just as obvious as the KKK.

But many have, and many have simply reversed the races and are still just as racist.

Such as FDR and LBJ...

Yes, but in context it was formed almost immediately after the Civil War. True, but it was founded by Democrats.
