But YEAH! In just about any workplace I can think of, publicly posting what amounts to a death threat to a colleague would get you out of a job and unemployable in the field.

and elected officials shouldn't be fireable. if you can fire a political opponent on trumped up charges in a power grab that's a bad thing. But yes, many politicians get away with the most outrageous things
