"Well, I got the rest of the day off. Know what I'm gonna do?" she said smiling. Carlos smiled and hugged his sister "Bake?" he said and she smiled brightly, nodding. "You know, having a day to rest means, well, resting." he pointed out and she chuckled "I like baking. It relaxes me." she said and let go of her brother "I'll bring you some muffins later, k?" she said and he nodded. She kissed his cheek and ran to the kitchen, getting started on baking

Amber chatted with her new boyfriend- she didn’t have many people around before him, and he seemed nice enough. Amber’s father, Jack, was really the one who owned the mansion, but he was always to busy, so amber ran everything.

Amber came out of the kitchen, holding a tray of chocolate-chip muffins. She had a hoodie on and her blonde hair was made into a braid, reaching her waist. She noticed Amber and her boyfriend were here and she walked over to them "Hi there, would you like a muffin?" she asked, smiling

She took a piece of his muffin and ate it as Carlos took a bite out of his muffin

Bianca had finished the last muffin and sighed "I'm a great baker." she said proudly and Carlos chuckled "Yeah you are." he smiled and ruffled her hair "Anyway, I promised Ethel I'd plant more white roses since there isn't a lot around here. I'll see you later sis." he kissed her forehead and left "Bye Carlos!" she waved bye at him and went in the kitchen. She started washing her dirty dishes

Known to a very select group of people, amber had strangled a grown man until he took his hands off a woman. She was a force to be reckoned with, and Bianca was a dear friend. That little girl was going to knock it off, one way or another.

The red-haired girl continued throwing rocks at Bianca. The other children ran off, a little scared. Bianca lowered her arm, she couldn't take the pain she was receiving on one spot, the rock hit her face and she hissed, looking away

Bianca fluttered her eyes open and slowly looked up. She rubbed her right arm and glanced at her "Thank you." she said with a small smile

“It’s alright. You deserve some rest after that, take the rest of the day off.”

She blinked a few times and smiled "Thank you, miss." she said and turned her heel. She walked over to the guard by the entrance, who was a bit far from the garden. She talked to him and he raised his helmet. He had a frown and grabbed her arm, he then inspected it. She smiled and patted his head.

Amber chuckled, shook her head, and went back inside

"Come on Carlos. I'm fine," she said softly as she patted his head. He frowned "I'm sorry I couldn't help you." he said quietly, holding her hand now. She smiled "It's fine. Miss Amber helped me anyway." she said. Carlos sighed and smiled "I feel like a trashy brother." he muttered and Amber chuckled "Don't feel bad Lil brother!" she said proudly of herself. He smiled "You're two minutes older." he said and chuckled. She laughed

She was baking muffins and Ethel was mopping anywhere where she wasn't

Ethel and Bianca were running to the shed, most likely racing there. Both of them had their hair down and Ethel didn't have his mask on. Bianca won and laughed while Ethel pouted and then smiled. He punched her arm slightly and opened the shed door. Ethel started looking by the entrance while Bianca jumped over items and looked mostly in the back

They both looked at each other, frowning. They didn't like the fact that he was going to clean up their mess. They both shook their heads and went for their cleaning supplies without saying anything

"I know right? Ethel, remember with our previous job, we acted so maturely? We didn't get to make a mess in the kitchen, fight with breadsticks, all that? But here!" she said and sighed happily "We can act like children." she laughed and Ethel nodded "God, it was boring back there." he smiled

when i turned sixteen my mom forced me to work as a construction worker i almost died a few times

They came back in after a while. Ethel and Bianca came in, wearing flower crowns with white roses. Bianca also had one in her hand and quietly approached Sammy, placing the flower crown on him slowly. She grabbed Ethel's arm and quietly walked away
