There’s only one reason business owners get paid more: private property. They own the products of labor and so they manage profits. If they needed the money to pay their workers, it would go to their f**king workers, and tens of billions wouldn’t be pocketed by Musk (technically his wealth is supposedly in stocks and he forgoes his salary, but this is still profit directly from his employees).
When any business fails, pay cuts are common for employees. The workers produce all of the wealth for the company, so of course they have stakes in the company and suffer when it falls under. It is bullshit to claim business owners absorb all risks, when their wealth is generated from the employees.
Employees do far more work than CEOs and much more underpaid.
The US government gave Musk billions in subsidies and tax breaks. You’re telling me he doesn’t owe us anything?!?
