Electric cars, battery technology, solar roof systems, and now he's doing batteries made from cheap iron to store energy from sun and wind during the day so the power grid doesn't need to use fossil fuels at night. Bringing the internet to the whole world, and trying to get humanity a second planet to use. Yeah, I can see why someone with your username would want to hate on someone like that.

Would be interesting if he solved poverty, you know, this current generation's problem, and not the problems of the generation billions of years from now. Keep sucking his dick, I guess.
0 ups, 3y
At least he's doing somerhing
0 ups, 3y
He's a proponent of basic income. I don't know if that is the best solution for poverty, but he can't solve everything like you.

We give Tesla money which ends up enriching their CEO by billions, more than hundreds of times the salary of his average employee.

Elon cannot replace 71,000 people.

I know but there are other ways to get workers.
Also what makes you think he needs to give you money.

Yeah and if there's anything we know about Elon, it's that he has a record of doing what he says.

(not)

If you didn't know he's making process. He even made a renuable rocket that comes back to earth safely.

Plus theirs a reason business owners gets paid more, some reasons are...
*They needs to pay his workers.
*They're the ones that improve the business and deals with buying the things the business needs to survive.
*If the business failes, they and any shareholders are the ones that deal with the aftermath of the colapse.

Im not really a big Elon Musk fan but he made is business and doesn't owe us anything.

There’s only one reason business owners get paid more: private property. They own the products of labor and so they manage profits. If they needed the money to pay their workers, it would go to their f**king workers, and tens of billions wouldn’t be pocketed by Musk (technically his wealth is supposedly in stocks and he forgoes his salary, but this is still profit directly from his employees).
When any business fails, pay cuts are common for employees. The workers produce all of the wealth for the company, so of course they have stakes in the company and suffer when it falls under. It is bullshit to claim business owners absorb all risks, when their wealth is generated from the employees.

Employees do far more work than CEOs and much more underpaid.

The US government gave Musk billions in subsidies and tax breaks. You’re telling me he doesn’t owe us anything?!?

Those billions of dollars were so that he could bring humans to mars to preserve the human race.
Also I was mostly reffering to small Business or Tradie businesses not Musk

Doesn't change anything. All businesses operate the same, no matter how much they have.

So they all get paid millions by the government.

And plus, you're complaining about a system that has made someof the most richest and most successful countries in the world like the US or the UK.
And in places where the system wasn't used like Eastern Europe, the conditions for living are horrible.

So what? We have the very worst wealth inequality in the world. We have half a million homeless and 17 million vacant homes. We have kids going hungry in America. Three million people facing eviction. People working for minimum wage, people working two or more jobs. A trillion and a half dollar student loan debt crisis. Half of the population skips going to the doctor to avoid medical costs.

Capitalism is f**king garbage, unless you are of the capitalist class. They own and control everything. Just because we made them rich doesn't mean everyone else is prosperous.

And Socialism is even worst.
In a socialist society, you get killed for freedom of speech, theres no food, no money and eveyone shares your things.

So you're defending capitalists paying starvation wages, because people in the unions don't want to work and nonunion workers do. Being unionized doesn't mean you don't work, it means you are able to be safer at work, win more favorable conditions and negotiate for better pay and benefits, AND keep your job if you are at risk of losing it for whatever reason.

Imagine thinking organizing against top-down capitalist organizations means one is lazy or doesn't like work. But of course you think that, f**king liberal.
0 ups, 3y
Im not a liberal, Im a conservative and I wasn't saying starting a union was lazy, I just said that workers here in Australia don't really unionize because on average they are happy about the work and pay.

You Aussies also have universal healthcare and more than $20 minimum wage, and your lack of unionization probably contributes to your rising inequality.
0 ups, 3y
We have a lackof unionization is because most of us would rather to work.
Even if they had to work for a low price they would still do the work.

They have no food in China? Or Cuba? The top 10 hungriest countries in the world are all capitalist. Not to say Vietnam or Laos or North Korea don't have hunger problems.

Cuba has virtually zero homeless. They are a leader in healthcare. They have a higher literacy rate than us, even a higher life expectancy rate.

Socialism is not supposed to be a top-down system where the state makes decisions for everyone else, it is supposed to be democratic organizations of workers cooperating to produce according to the needs of all and to solve community problems as a union. They do this in Rojava, under a population of 2 million. They also do it in the Zapatistas, where they provide necessities better than the Mexican government. They only fight with those who threaten their autonomy and freedom.
0 ups, 3y
I guarrente you here in Australia if you tried to confince workers to unionize, they would tell you to "Shut up mate"
0 ups, 3y
I'm not a fan of subsidies, but I don't mind as much when the company stays in business. I live near the former Solyndra plant. They got hundreds of millions of that green stimulus and promptly went bankrupt.
