When do you start playing holiday music and decorating and when do you stop?

We dont decorate or do anything Christmas related until after Thanksgiving, sort of a principle thing to us. I feel like Thanksgiving gets completely skipped over. That said, we will be doing the Polar Express train experience here in a couple of weeks because we've always wanted to go and it was the only opening they had left. Figured that was worth an exception.

They keep pushing the Christmas stuff earlier and earlier and then at midnight Christmas day it all comes to a screeching halt when we're just starting the celebrations. My daughter's birthday is Christmas eve so we start getting ready then, in our church we drag it out until January 6 (Epiphany or 3 Kings day) some die hards go until February 2 (Jesus is presented in the temple)

20th December, I don't really decorate the entire house with Christmas stuff, I just do the tree

I started Christmas music near the start of September at 1 in the morning struggling through calculus homework 😔

Not until after Thanksgiving. And I hope to high Heaven that I don't marry a Christmas fangirl who'll want Christmas decorations in August...
