Many people argue that vaccine passports will lower the spread of covid however the problem with their argument is that even you are vaccinated, it doesn't mean you can't get covid, it just means you are less likely get a severe case of covid that's likely to put you in hospital. You can still unknowingly carry the virus and infect others. Now you're putting words in my mouth, I didn't say "systemic racism doesn't exist". I don't want any policy that enables systemic racism and big government violating people's rights, not the police doing racial profiling minorities with "stop-and-frisk" policies, not the border patrol locking migrant kids in cages (be it under Trump or Biden) and not vaccine passports. I believe that people shouldn't have government take away their individual freedom and should just be left alone to live their own life and do their own thing. If you oppose systemic racism then you really should not be advocating for vaccine passports. The free world is not supposed to be a "show your papers" society, that's a police state tendency, people are supposed to have their basic human rights protected including minority rights in the free world.

I know that vaccine passports are not about racism but unfortunately it does happen to disproportionality affect people in immigrant and ethnic minority communities and the poor and the disabled who are unable to have the vaccine, many argue it's about public health but I really think it is a violation people's basic individual freedom and a literal tendency of a "show your papers" society. I believe that people not should be forced to show their papers for basic everyday life, I don't believe people should be forced to show their proof of citizenship for everyday life, I don't believe people should be forced to show their criminal records for everyday life and I believe people shouldn't be forced to show their medical records for everyday life. I believe society shouldn't have to check everyone's status all the time, it's unnecessary government bureaucracy. Many civil liberties lawyers are against the vaccine mandates and are suing the government, even Boston Mayor Kim Janey (the first black woman to be elected Mayor of Boston) is opposed to vaccine passports and likens such a system to slavery-era "freedom papers" and how Trump demanded to see Obama's birth certificate. I really don't think vaccine passports are necessary and they only cause more problems than they solve. Denmark and Norway recently dropped all covid restrictions including vaccine passports and they are doing just fine, I am aware that Denmark and Norway have over 75% of the population vaccinated but they don't use "public health" as an excuse to violate people's civil liberties.
