Developing drugs and vaccines is also part of natural selection. The same way the development of tools and agricultural resulted in a greater chance of survival.

Now, having said not a bad point..

Natural Selection is Survival of the Fittest to survive a given scenario. When we vaccinate - we are circumventing natural selection. Instead of the fittest surviving - we make the less fit, more fit to survive. By definition of Natural Selection (organisms better adapted to their environment) - vaccinations push this process to the side.

One could argue that "adapting" is getting a vaccine. One could also argue that "adapting" is getting sick with COVID and surviving it.

So we are both technically correct !
