I don't know you, and this was made ages ago, but I'm a nice person,so... Are you afraid of being called out for LGBTQ? Because if so, it means you are alive and flourishing. If you are dead, the worst has happened. Nothing can hurt you. If you are afraid, you are perfectly fine.

He said in the post. The community was too different from what she believed, and it was making him feel uncomfortable and like an outsider. In addition, she has a lot of problems in his life, which makes it even harder for her to stay. However, he is still grateful for what the community had to offer her.
