Don't tell me that some parents lie about supporting LGBTQ+ to their own sperm cells...

That happens sometimes. My parents support LGBTQIA+, but I think they still want me in a relationship or will tell me that I’ll want a relationship eventually. They’re also the sort to complain about how annoying homophobes are while munching on Chick-fil-A. And I consider myself lucky to have parents like them as an LGBTQ+ person.

No, they talk about it, and they still go there. They’re kinda ignorant about queer stuff in general though, I think that’s why they don’t talk about it much. It’s not that they were worried my brother and I would “become gay” they just didn’t understand it well enough that they worried they couldn’t explain it without messing something up (which ended up worse for me in the long run).
