I’ve been told, by IG himself, that IG was acquitted. This isn’t the end, in the sense that IG now has a blank check to do and say whatever he wants from now until election time.

Bear in mind this was an impeachment trial carried out according to the RUP Constitution. We followed those trial procedures in order to fully exhaust that pathway. But there is a higher law that exists here: the implicit Constitution of IMGFLIP_PRESIDENTS.

What is the implicit Constitution of IMGFLIP_PRESIDENTS? A law that cannot be overturned no matter what any government says.

The implicit Constitution isn’t written anywhere, to my knowledge, but it’s exceedingly short, and it says roughly this:

1. Imgflip Terms of Service must be upheld;
2. Elections must be free and fair;
3. Presidents must have some minimum level of support.

Provision (1) derives from the terms of the website we all use, and which all steam mods agree to uphold.

Provision (2) derives from the IMGFLIP_PRESIDENTS stream description. This is a democratic roleplay. Governments cannot install themselves as dictatorships, or ruthlessly suppress the free speech of political rivals.

Provision (3) might sound hand-wavy, but we have direct precedent of a violation of it: President_Donald_Trump_MAGA_2024 or whatever the hell his name was won an election, but he wasn’t ultimately seated as President, because the Owner determined he had made himself too hated to be President. Awarding him the election therefore would not have been in the best interests of the stream and its community.

The impeachment process has concluded, but IG is not out of the woods, in the sense that he’s free and clear to do whatever he wants. The impeachment trial unearthed evidence that IG may have violated the implicit Constitution of IMGFLIP_PRESIDENTS. Whether IG has, or will in the future, violate the fundamental spirit of this roleplay is for the Owner to determine and address as he sees fit.

The result of MAGA's election and what went into that decision was a little more complicated, but I'm sure you knew that already ;)

I’m sure I didn’t capture all the twists and turns of that MAGA saga. I wasn’t even posting here at the time: from what I could see, that election aftermath was a hellhole I wanted no part of.

So you're triggered about failing the impeachment and have now fallen back to your last idea: hoping that Scar will be biased enough to depose a democratically elected official over your bogus charges.

I was 99% sure since before I even launched the impeachment that it would fail: I’m under no illusions about this Congress.

However, the trial process developed a lot of evidence that may come in handy if you start to again abuse your power in a similar way going forward.

I just learned I have not 2, but 3 LGBTQ running-mates. Their ability to speak freely on these subjects is paramount. N.E.R.D. won’t consent to a rigged October election regardless of what 6 RUP congresspeople say. So I ask once again: mod the stream properly.

If you think marking adult content NSFW is an example of restricting speech and even somehow rigging an election then that is a huge overreaction. Most ppl have NSFW switched on anyway.

Also, the Constitution is linked in the stream description. And MAGA was removed from office because he was an alt account who was elected by voters who didn't even follow the stream.

So basically, according to sloth, we have to do the impeachment process again and again how he wants it to happen?

That's bullcrap.

We did the impeachment, we followed the accepted constitution and we've come to a conclusion. Sloth can't just contest everything until it goes his way. This isn't how the stream works. He self-elected himself as impeachment manager, started the impeachment process with barely any consent from the cabinet and still lost the impeachment.

You can't change the Congress mate, you can't change the Congress until they vote 'aye' for the impeachment. That isn't fair!

It's obvious that this is never gonna end. Sloth, Envoy and Scar are gonna keep fighting until IG's impeached, regardless of what the President, Constitution and Congress says. Which is petty and unjustified.

I appreciate your time and thought that's gone into the impeachment, but this is getting ridiculous. Congress voted a long time ago to PASS the constitution and only now are you contesting it. The logic and evidence behind this is held together by a piece of string.

This has to end. ASAP.
