just when I thought they were accepting. They’re transphobic as well

It all started when we were having dinner, and my mum shows this to my dad, and sister. My mum had shown me earlier in the day, and I put a face instead of laughing (Like my mum and dad did). She didn’t pick up on it.
Back to where we were, my mum says “I’ll just say that, and now they won’t question me. They can’t question me” (Karen behaviour, amirite?) and everyone went along with it. Then my sister started chatting about “Pushing the LGBTQ ‘Agenda’”, and I just tuned out.
When I tried to explain transgender, and how it works, to them, they just spoke over me and didn’t listen. Like, wtf.

I know, but she made out the trans community to be some people that "Just called themselves something"

I mean it kinda is but not entirely since it's a bit more complicated then that
