White wing denial in 3...2...1....

Same words entered my head when I saw this. Just goes to show that they aren't really "blm riots"

Frankly I didn't think all the chaos was due to blm, sure some are probably doing violent things because the damned media has done a bloody good job at rekindling the race problem and dividing Americans.
We are Americans! Not minorities! I loathe politicians and journalists who continues to belittle my fellow Americans by making them out to be lesser Americans by referring to them as minorities rather than Americans. And the damning part is that they do it in an attempt to make themselves look good, to look like champions of social injustice, but it is only virtue signaling bluster.

However, since blm leaders criticized protesters of a communist regime and in light of the mothers who lost loved ones saying blm profited from their loss without helping them, I think we can stop defending the group.

I am against government oppression. But burning buildings like he did, if indeed that is true, is not the way to go about change.

When they say minorities, they are saying racial minorities within the American demographic.

I always try to tell people that rioters are not protesters, They are anarchists and they come from the left and the right. No matter how many times I say it, people don't seem to be able to understand.

That, truly, is thanks to the repeated rhetoric of the right wing.

Dont turn Texas into another California

Dunno what youre talking about, but the majority of arrests of capitol rioters are from Texas... this isn't surprising.

Well, yes, but you'd have to do the statistical work to show that wasn't just because of Texas' size. I keep being tempted by the idea of a data dive that looked at how many people have been arrested from each state vs. how big it is, then with reference to how close it is to DC. Then we could get a real Insurrection Index number. ;)

It would serve as a good risk assessment table as well, I think.
