So, “my body, my choice” does not apply to a women choosing to allow herself to be impregnated instead of responsibly avoiding pregnancy? Does not Planned Parenthood ( as well as every school district) offer free sex education which explains how pregnancy occurs?

Unless it is rape or birth control failure, it if’s the woman’s choice to allow sperm inside her body.

If a woman does not want a pregnancy, she has almost total control to prevent it.
If one does not want a DUI ticket for drunk driving, who is responsible to prevent that? Why should I pay for your DUI?

Most people do not have sex to become pregnant, and you know that.
Most PP clinics do not have free or low-cost birth control to my understanding. Some are trying to.

You ignore that the woman is not the only one that consented to sex, and my entire point is that you put full blame on the woman, and chastise her even more if she aborts a pregnancy she didn’t want.

1 in 5 women will be raped at some point in their lives. So, no, they don’t have “full control”. Abortion allows them full control of their reproductive cavity.

You’re just being ignorant of why women become pregnant in the first place. More than half of women who get abortions are poor and low-income because they have limited access to contraceptives. But force them to produce the child they can’t afford to take care of, right? Because after the child is born who gives a f**k, right?

Perhaps better wording would have been it is a woman’s choice to allow her eggs to become fertilized.

It’s all about what a person’s priorities are. There is a difference between having an unwanted baby and having an unwanted pregnancy. The better choice is to act to not have an unwanted pregnancy. The goal is not to prevent the baby, it is to prevent the pregnancy.

But then, there are still some who drive in cars without wearing a seal belt, even though it is law to wear one. Maybe using birth control should become law.
