RUP has now blown their *own* self-imposed deadline for the impeachment subpoena. They didn’t even try to comply. Their evidence box is still empty.

They plainly don’t want an actual trial, but more like a routine vote where as little evidence as possible is actually aired and debated. IG urged me to “get to the vote.” Apart from violating his Fifth Amendment plea by seeking to steer these proceedings, if I do that and let RUP off the hook regarding the subpoena, I play right into their hands.

I defer now to the Owners. I’ll proceed however they want and call upon them to issue any punishments for obstruction of justice they may find appropriate.

Well, you know how they are — if I asked y’all for stuff first then they’d try to claim I’m colluding with the Owners to bring RUP down or some crap. Totally stupid, but stupid arguments often get more traction than they should. That’s why I’ve been striving to do everything super conservatively and by-the-book.

So, anything that I *could* get from them I decided to ask them first, and thereby keep this impeachment investigation as separated from the Owners as possible.

It’s also a gauge of RUP’s own transparency and commitment to this process, which is apparently zero. It would have been trivial for them to *at least* get me the mod logs like you just did, but they didn’t even do that.

The other piece of the subpoena was any LGBTQ-related statements by IG on this stream. A daunting ask, perhaps, but only because he made it that way by talking about it so dang much… I did eventually limit that request to clarify I’m not seeking any statements from him from before he went on his months-long break because that’s too long ago to matter.
