Didn't congress reject it? Doesn't the Senate vote after Congress approves a bill?

It’s a two way street. Either body can write and vote on their own bills, then send them to the other branch for them to vote on. Congress rejected it, but the Senate can write their own bills and vote on them, then send them to Congress for them to vote on.

You make a good point there. Is there any amendments or clarifications to the proposal you would like to make that would make you comfortable voting aye, or is it a hard nay for you?

If I win the election I would want someone else to run the Bank. I agree it would be too overpowered to do both. It would also be waaaay too much work.

However, we’d need someone who’s as organized and committed to making it work as me. I tried my best to get Luigi to administer the Bank on the day-to-day (he volunteered for Head Banker) but he just never did.

We just need oversight of the bank by multiple neutral parties. If the bank owns all the money and makes all the rules, there can't be one person running it.

—Whether I am indeed a Senator if the institution does exist.

Well I suppose it depends on who you ask. Clearly some in the RUP are going to have a problem with the Senate acting on issues their rubber stamp Congress either won’t hear or veto. Considering the only place I am seeing anything about whether the Senate exists or not and whether it can act on issues is from IG or other RUP members, I don’t see any reason the Senate can’t exist currently or take action on issues Congress won’t. As far as I’m concerned, unless I am told otherwise by Scar or Envoy, the Senate exists and is free to perform their duties as they see fit. Of course, I’m sure RUP will just rewrite the Constitution again to try and throw more roadblocks in the Senate’s way.

Plus the Senate is meant to be for next term. If you want to get into the petty constitutional squabbling we can deal with that before then.

No the Constitution says that the VP gets the tie-breaking vote and I'm merely being faithful to that rule. The Senate isn't in the Constitution yet so I guess we should add it.
