Well I suppose it depends on who you ask. Clearly some in the RUP are going to have a problem with the Senate acting on issues their rubber stamp Congress either won’t hear or veto. Considering the only place I am seeing anything about whether the Senate exists or not and whether it can act on issues is from IG or other RUP members, I don’t see any reason the Senate can’t exist currently or take action on issues Congress won’t. As far as I’m concerned, unless I am told otherwise by Scar or Envoy, the Senate exists and is free to perform their duties as they see fit. Of course, I’m sure RUP will just rewrite the Constitution again to try and throw more roadblocks in the Senate’s way.
