Don't you think they can make more money working in America than in Latin America (since you are obviously talking about Latinos)? They don't leave their countries because they are unemployed because they are unskilled, it is largely because of conditions we have imposed onto their nations, and uncontrolled violence, especially in Mexico and Honduras. NAFTA devastated the Mexican economy.
Immigrants, legal and illegal, in studies have been shown to commit fewer crimes than native-born citizens. They are not generally violent or criminal people.
You need to admit that the Reagan/Clinton direction toward globalization/slashing welfare benefits has had a detrimental effect on the U.S. and working people everywhere.
