Ehhh...a bit debatable when viewed in the light of his post-power-grab policies...of course (and trying not to be the "yeah, but" guy" when I'm obviously being the "yeah, but" guy) there's always the question of whether some of them were actually his policies and not weirdo-perv Goering's doings.

I mean, you're not wrong, but he still made the state the center of everyone's life. Nationalized plenty of industries, suppressed individuality in favor of social conformity (I.E, the Hitler youth)...

Dude was beyond authoritarian. He was hardcore authoritarian AND hardcore "state>individual" (which isn't too far removed from socialism).
