Bisexual is an attraction to any TWO genders regardless of your sex or what the other two are. It does not extend further than two as the term BI means TWO.

actually that's not correct but is a common misconception you can be bisexual while having an attraction to all genders the minimum for bisexual is two genders but there is no limit to a max amount of genders a bisexual person could be attracted to

Whether the definition allows more or not, there are more specific terms that SHOULD be used to describe an individual. Feeling attraction to 3 but claiming to be BI(Which means TWO) is EXTREMELY misleading and nowhere near straightforward enough.

Any further and a person is classified as Trisexual or Polysexual. They will still fall under those classifications even if bi is also correct.

There are specified terms for more than two. They are just as valid. They should be used.

Whether they count as Bi or not they would be being very much too vague because by your(And the dictionary's) definition Bisexual is also Pansexual, Omnisexual, Trisexual, and Polysexual.

It's extremely important to be specific with something as complex and Gender or Sexuality, otherwise, you may give people the wrong idea and they may think you Don't or do possibly feel attraction towards their gender.

Basically. Saying you're Bi when you're actually Pan would be f**king confusing lol

bisexuality is an umbrella that the terms pan omni poly etc fall under and whether you choose to go by a more specific term or just go as bisexual is a choice made by the person in question and yes you could give people the wrong impression about gender attraction but that also wouldn't really be a problem if more people knew the more exact definitions for the different terms in the community and even if you a r e attracted to more than two genders it's possible that there isn't a different term that actually fits (like with me)
saying you're bi when you're pan would be less confusing then saying you're pan when you're bi and i can see multiple reasons someone might want to do either of those
