Rewinding 3 weeks to see this... Washington didn't have a vaccine because vaccinations didn't exist during that war. What they had was making a small cut and they took the pus from someone infected - then wiped that pus into the other person's cut.

It's impossible to "vaccinate" when the term vaccine had yet to be invented.
