Obesity can play a role in many negative health outcomes. But, not being vaccinated plays a role in almost all Covid-19 deaths these days. Are you willing to accept that scientific fact, as well?

An article in Newsweek looked a this issue. It broke down the findings of obesity researchers. They found that countries with high obesity rates have high Covid-19 morality. The United States has an obesity rate of about 67 percent and sits at second place in COVID-19 death rates overall at about 152 deaths per 100,000. It may make sense to conclude coincidence is related to cause. But, the research did not break down the percentage of people globally who were overweight and also died from COVID-19. So, science appears to have not made a final judgement.

The reason I am hesitant is because my girlfriend, who is a charge nurse, has been keeping me apprised to the side effects that come in every day. More recent deaths due to unexplained sub dermal hematoma this year than covid. Also why do you care if people get the shot. It sounds like you have it. If the vaccine works don't concern yourself. You sounded like you might know a little bit about what you were talking about, until you came up with "Sub Dermal Hematoma." In over 35-years in health care management, I never heard of that diagnosis. Did you mean "Subdural Hematoma?" I could only find reports of three cases of Covid-19 patients with Subdural Hematomas. All three were elderly men who cam to ERs with Covdi-19 symptoms before the vaccine was available. So, you appear to be babbling about things you know nothing about.

As far as the medical term, you caught me. I'm not in the medical field. I'm just going off what I hear every day, from how was your day conversations when she gets home from the hospital. While I respect all medical professionals, most of them know the limits of their practice are relative to their education, training and professional experience. I am sure that your friend is an excellent charge nurse at whatever facility she works and in whatever specialty she practices. However, I will accept the observations of the vast majority of the recognized world experts in epidemiology, infectious disease and public health over the latest break room chatter at your local hospital. Tell them to submit merit review requests and get their "breakthrough discoveries," published in JAMA or Lancet. Until then, I will call your posts what they are, politically motivated disinformation that probably costs American lives in the process.

This young lady was a Preschool Teacher. Anyone who spends their working day taking care of kids, so their parents can work, is special. She came from a region of Easter Oregon that has low vaccination rates. It is also a very politically conservative area. In fact, there is a movement in many of its communities to secede from "Democratic leaning," Oregon and become part of "Republican leaning," Idaho, where she died.

As the Father of two Daughters, Grandfather of seven Granddaughters and Great Grandfather of one Great Granddaughter, her unnecessary death breaks my heart. I don't want to read of another twenty-something who died from Covid-19 so that President Pandemic can "keep Biden from winning." I know that this will open me to ridicule and disdain from political extremists who think that people dying for their "cause," is OK If I convince one young person to save their own life, all the crap from the extremists will be worth it.
