Plus it kinds lets us know who we can be comfortable with if they have an Ally Flag on them like on a pin or their bookbag or purse.

The straight ally flag isn’t saying we are oppressed or part of the LGBTQ community, (That’s what the straight pride flag is) it’s more of a symbol saying I’m here for you and I’ll support you. It isn’t a pride flag.
As Sin-69 said, it’s a way of saying you can trust me I’ll support you.
I personally bought a straight ally pin so people I meet know I won’t judge them for being non-binary or bisexual or whatever part of the lgbtq community they are from

i'm fine with the ally flag since it's just them trying to show support the LGBTQ+ community without being an actual pride flag however the straight flag should not exist that was made as a "pride" flag but cishets aren't oppressed in this country unless they're part of a different minority but even then them being straight is not smth that would need a flag

Ehh… I like the straight ally flag. That way, they don’t have to risk people assuming them to be LGBT. I only like the straight flag for LGBallT comics, so we need it for that.

but just the normal straight flag is the most boring looking flag in all of existence and it's kinda useless

Tbh, straight flag isnt necessary, but ally flags are completely/partially necessary. Its like expressing whether the straights are friends or foes
