Even with the Democrats in full power, you do nothing but whine. Guess what? Your mulatto messiah wasn't great on debt either.

Unlike the Tangerine Tyrant the "mulatto messiah," was born with his skin color. And, none other than the Webster's Dictionary says mulatto is a racially offensive word.

President Obama inherited an economy in the deepest recession since the Great Depression. The Econ. 101 prescription for a recession is deficit spending. Republicans before and after Obama have had "borrow and spend" deficit spending as part of their behavior in otherwise good economic times.

If a person calls the credit card company asks to have the credit limit while not having even less than 5% of the bill paid off, the company representative that took the call will LOL then hang up but not after telling the caller to go screw him/herself.

That is what someone should have told Reagan when he cut taxes 25% but borrowed the same amount and continued to spend to avoid a recession. His "borrow and spend," was so popular that every Republican president since has done so much more of it. I remember Reagan promising that the economy would grow to offset the tax cuts and he would leave no real debt increase. He more than doubled the National Debt. The only time Republicans say we should "pay as we go," is when a Democrat is in the White House.

Biden raised the debt by roughly $8 trillion in less than a year....

The Federal Budget that Biden is operating under was passed by Mitch Mc Connell and Nancy Pelosi. It was signed into law by Donald Trump. The budget being considered right now, is Biden's first. It is less than half of the $8-trillion and will probably be less than that when Biden signs it. Do you just make up numbers? The individual budgets, deficits and national debt are easily accessible online. So, you are either stupid for posting such a big mistake or you are a liar.

I wasn't talking about the federal budget, I was talking about the 6 trillion in "relief" packages and infrastructure bill and now the 3.5 trillion bill trying to be passed by democrats. So yes, around 8 trillion.

Be more specific. I have not seen $6-trillion in spending by Democrats in the last 8-months. How did they hide it from the public? Or, did you just make that up?

H.R. 133 - $2.3T
H.R. 1319 - $1.9T
H.R. 3684 - $1.2T
Budget resolution (not passed yet) $3.5T
Total $8.9T

Is that specific enough for you?

The first problem with your allegation that "Biden raised the debt by roughly $8 trillion in less than a year," is that not all of those bills have passed, and HR 133 was enacted before Biden became President. So $2.3-trillion of your number belongs to Trump. The second is that not all spending ends up as debt. People are taxed and these taxes pay for at least some of the cost of the legislation. The third problem is that most of the proposed spending under Biden has proposed tax increases for the very rich to pay for it. That is why the bill has to originate in the House of Representatives. the folks empowered by the Constitution to levy taxes. In fact, most of the proposed spending plan is funded by existing and proposed taxes. Sadly for you, most of your imaginary $8-trillion in debt just went up in smoke, by looking at those pesky facts the extreme right hates so much.

Not that anyone has asked, but I have advocated since Carter was president for a small decrease (under 5%) in Federal spending each year. In addition, I would increase taxes on all sources of income above $1-million year by an equal amount. A small increase in income coupled with a small decrease in outgo, would pay down the debt in a palatable manner. Had we introduced this fiscal discipline 30-years ago, we would now have balanced budgets most years.
