Nice False Dichotomy. Having or not having the shot is hardly the sole, or even a terribly important, factor in whether or not someone transmits COVID or any other pathogen.

If you want to protect YOUR life, get the shot. If you want to protect OTHERS' lives, wear a mask and be a responsible, hygienic adult..

when you don't know something, you should be quiet and find out. you definitely shouldn't spread your opinion and present it as fact. others who don't know will read it and share it with their friends, which can be just as deadly as spreading the virus.

first, vaccination was shown to reduce the rate of covid infection by 90% or more. you're much less likely to transmit a virus if you're not infected. second, if a vaccinated person does become infected, their viral load is lower than an unvaccinated person's would be, so they're less able to spread it.

now to be clear, stop pretending to be an authority on something you know little about. it only makes things worse. i won't be replying to any of your future posts because some people might think i take you seriously.

Careful dude, the edge you're giving off could cut someone. But if you read through my posts, you'll see that I have NEVER claimed to be a medical authority. By that same token, I sincerely doubt you are either. We're just folks who read what we can and are then spouting off about it online, so let's at least try both to be civil about it, OK?

Now, as far as being vaccinated goes, yes of course it reduces the rate of COVID infection by huge percentages. No duh. As more people get vaccinated, fewer people can get it. BUT, you failed to address my actual rebuttal and instead raged against yet another fallacious strawman; I never said don't vaccinate and live normally. I said if you want to protect others you should wear a mask and be responsible. We know it works, and we know it's effective. If you for some reason think we SHOULDN'T do this then by all means, I want to hear your logic. But for now, you guys on the left have continually shifted the bar when it comes to vaccines. Until you actually build some solid, stable positions and defend them, I'm going to stay entrenched on my own, "Be responsible, be respectful." hill.

Because some people don't like the money trail around the vaccine. It's more of a protest for the most part. Plus, vaccines usually took at least 10 years of testing to be fully free of "long-term affects," though I'm sure the standards have changed (probably for the better) by now. I think it's more of the fact that people are being told to take things while medical standards are mysteriously flip-flopping, like hydroxy suddenly being illegal to prescribe, vaccine standards changing, Fauci's mask recommendation flip-flops, FDA monetary ties to coronavirus gain of function research at the Wuhan lab (which was quickly swept under the rug considering Fauci knew that he signed off on coronavirus gain of function research happening there (as shown by the research proposal document (which was also for some reason purposefully kept hidden, so much so that the FDA or CDC wouldn't give it up until congressional inquiries declassified it.))), etc.

the 'protest' is costing many thousands of lives. i'd argue with you on every other point except it hasn't done much good up to this point.
